The Hotel Soechi Hotel was, for a long time, one of the best Hotels in Medan. The Novotel formerly managed it.
The Hotel is now locally managed, and thankfully, the Novotel has left its mark of friendly service and high standards.
The rooms are comfortable and we enjoyed the crisp linen and the lounge downstairs. Some of the more expensive rooms have been renovated and are good value for money.
The Hotel Soechi International is conveniently located in the city center, within walking distance to Kesawan Square and just across the street from Jalan Semarang, both famous food streets in Medan.
There is also a small, but handy, swimming pool and gym. Medan is a notoriously hot Indonesian city.
